Markala Fae Hancock, a resident of Merryville, was born May 21, 1964 in Salt Lake City, Utah and passed away Monday, Jan. 25, 2021 at the age of 56.
She is survived by her mother, Marsala Fae Hancock of Colorado Springs, Colo.; brothers, Kelly Hancock of Oklahoma City, Okla. and Keith Hancock and wife, Frances of Colorado Springs, Colo. and her adopted mother, Trudi Colvin.
She was preceded in death by her father, Mark Conrad Hancock.
A memorial service was held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 31, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
