Smith awarded scholarship by Louisiana College

Jordan Smith was chosen as one of 15 students to participate in the Smith Scholarship competition at Louisiana College recently.

To compete, you must have at least a 28 ACT superscore and are evaluated based on your leadership qualities and Christian character, as well as, take part in group interviews.

One winner is chosen for a full paid scholarship to Louisiana College which includes everything. Those who qualified for the Smith Scholarship, but are not the overall winner, and enroll next fall at Louisiana College will be awarded an annual academic scholarship and will join the C. S. Lewis Honors Scholars program.

He was not chosen as the overall winner, but looks forward to being a part of the C. S. Lewis Honors Scholars program in the fall.

Smith is a the son of Tracy and Marci Smith of DeQuincy.
