Gene Raymond Craft, 81, died Monday, Feb. 1, 2021.
He was born in Lake Charles. He graduated from Ragley High School and attended McNeese. He was a Vietnam veteran serving in the United State Army. He retired from South Central Bell after 30 years of service and was member of Squyres United Methodist Church in Ragley.
He is survived by his wife, Saundra Craft; two sons, Kelly (Michelle) and Kerry Craft; brothers, Larry and David Craft; four grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mace Willie and Dorothy Craft; son, Kenneth Raymond Craft; two sisters; and four brothers.
Graveside services were held Friday, Feb. 5, at Squyres Reisinger Memorial Park in Ragley with the Revs. Kelly Craft and Lindsey Sirman officiating.
