James Fruge Kennedy, 85, of Longville died Saturday, Jan. 30, 2021.
He is survived by his wife, Mavis Kennedy of Longville; son, Brett Kennedy of DeRidder; daughter, Beverly Kennedy Fontenot of Longville; brother, Harold Kennedy of Moss Bluff; sister, Mary Ann Flowers of Welsh; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Vernie Kennedy; and one sister.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date by the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to either St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the American Heart Association.
