The South Beau Lady K Soccer Team is moving on to the second round of the State Playoffs!
The Lady K’s made history Friday, Feb. 5, picking up a 4-1 win over Cabrini. Scoring tonight for the Lady K’s were Alexa Midkiff 1 goal and 2 assists, Ashley Graham 1 goal and 1 assist, Jenna Mullican 1 goal, Corinne Newman 1 goal, and Kenzie Harris 1 assist.
Defensively Maddie Tew, Boogie Huber, Emma Perry, and Angel Hollier held strong only giving up five shots on goal.
Goalie Ivana Robinson played outstanding saving four and cleaning up anything that got through the defense. Emma Harris was a constant presence on the offensive side of the ball winning 50/50 balls and pushing the attack.
The Lady K’s traveled to Parkview Baptist on Tuesday, Feb. 9, for the second round of the playoffs. Kickoff was at 6 p.m.
