Calvin Lee “Butch” Woodard Jr., 65, died Monday, Feb. 1, 2021 in a local hospital.
He was born in Tachikawa, Japan and was raised in White Bluff, Tenn. He served in the U.S. Army. He moved to Starks over 25 years ago.
Survivors include his wife, Kristy Woodard of Starks; children, Summer Lynn Woodard Hillegass (Daniel) of Shelbyville, Tenn., Jessica Leigh Woodard (Craig Tortorich) of Dickson, Tenn., Calvin Lee Woodard III (Jordon) of White Bluff, Tenn.; step-son, Jonathan Menard of Beaumont, Texas; 12 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and brother, Michael Lee Woodard of White Bluff, Tenn.
He was preceded in death by, his parents, Calvin Lee Woodard Sr. and Betty Ann Rediker.
A Celebration service was held Saturday, Feb. 20, at Hixson Vinton Funeral Home. Jody Barrilleaux lead services. Cremation was entrusted to Hixson Vinton Funeral Home.
