Lady Tigers lose to Kinder

DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in an 11-0 loss to Kinder on Thursday.

The DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Kinder, giving up 11 runs

Miley Moore got things going with a hit in the top of the 2nd. Laurel Patin’s sacrifice punt moved Moore to 2nd base. But it wasn’t enough to keep the inning going.

One bright spot for DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity was a single by Baileigh Kellogg in the third inning.

Raeleigh Granger toed the rubber for DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity. Granger went four innings, allowing eleven runs on nine hits, striking out two and walking zero.

Kellogg led DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity with two hits in three at bats. The freshman Miley Moore was 2 for 2.
