Leo E. Carthan, 84, of DeRidder died on Sunday, Mar. 14, 2021.
Those left to cherish his memory are his four children, Sabrina Carthan, Jerry Carthan, Lolita Carthan, Michael Carthan, all of Los Angeles; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; loving niece, Carlos Jones and husband, Robert Mackey of DeQuincy; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles B. Carthan; mother, Corine Wright; brother, Jerry Carthan; and sisters, Bertha Carthan, Lucille Carthan Harrison.
Graveside funeral service and burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Mar. 27, at Starlight Baptist Cemetery in DeRidder.
The family would like to thank Sheila and Jake from Heart of Hospice for your compassion and exceptional care of Leo during his illness.
Services are under the direction of Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder.
