CITY COUNCIL
The City Council of the City of DeQuincy met in special session on Thursday, February 18, 2021 5:00 p.m. at the DeQuincy City Hall, 300 N. Holly Street, DeQuincy, Louisiana with the following members present: Ronda Jacobs, Judy Landry, Mark Peloquin and Denise Maddox. Absent: Daisy Cole.
The meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m. by Denise Maddox and the roll was called with the above result.
There was no public input.
A motion was made by Ronda Jacobs and seconded by Judy Landry to approve a temporary variance allowing Herman Treme to put a mobile home on his property to be used as a temporary residence by a family member whose home was damaged during Hurricane Laura. This temporary variance will be good for one (1) year from date. Motion carried as follows: Yeas: Judy Landry, Mark Peloquin, Ronda Jacobs and Denise Maddox. Nays: None. Absent: Daisy Cole. Abstain: None.
A motion was made by Mark Peloquin and seconded by Judy Landry to approve a temporary variance allowing Martha Gross to put a travel trailer on her property to be used as a temporary residence by a family member whose home was damaged during Hurricane Laura. This temporary variance will be good for one (1) year from date. Motion carried as
follows: Yeas: Judy Landry, Mark Peloquin, Ronda Jacobs and Denise Maddox. Nays: None. Absent: Daisy Cole. Abstain: None.
There being no further business to discuss, a motion was made by Judy Landry and seconded Ronda Jacobs to adjourn the meeting.
