Tigers fall on walk-off double

The DeQuincy Tigers fell to DeRidder 6-5 on Friday on the final play of the game. The game was tied at five with DeRidder batting in the bottom of the seventh when Alex Brannan doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

The Tigers opened up scoring in the second inning. Gavin Gary drew a walk, scoring one run.

Hadley Cooley took the loss for the Tigers. Cooley went four and a third innings, allowing two runs on four hits, striking out four and walking zero.

Gunner Gearen started the game for the Tigers. The righty went two and a third innings, allowing four runs on six hits and striking out two

Rayden Rosalis went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead the Tigers in hits.
