DeQuincy 11, Pickering 7

DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity took the lead late in the game in an 11-7 victory over Pickering on Tuesday. The game was tied at two with the DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity batting in the top of the fifth when Hannah Jefferson doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity tallied seven runs in the seventh inning. DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity’s big bats in the inning were led by doubles by Baileigh Kellogg and Raeleigh Granger, a fielder’s choice by Sarah Morvant, and an error on a ball put in play by Katie Willis.

Granger was credited with the victory for the DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity. Granger allowed six hits and seven runs over seven innings, striking out seven.

DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity racked up 12 hits in the game. Adah Doucet, Jefferson, Morvant, and Granger each managed multiple hits for DeQuincy Lady Tigers.

DeQuincy 13, Vinton 8

DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity bested Vinton in a high-scoring affair, 13-8.

DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity opened up scoring in the first inning when Raeleigh Granger homered on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs.

DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity took the lead for good with four runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth, Baileigh Kellogg hit a solo homer, Laurel Patin drew a walk, scoring one run, and Sarah Morvant drew a walk, scoring one run.

Granger pitched the DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity to victory. The pitcher went seven innings, allowing eight runs on 13 hits, striking out four and walking one.

DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity smacked two home runs on the day. Granger put one out in the first inning. Kellogg had a long ball in the fourth inning.

DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity totaled ten hits. Hannah Jefferson, Katie Willis, and Kellogg each racked up multiple hits for DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity. Jefferson led DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity with three hits in three at bats.

DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Jefferson led the way with three.

DeQuincy 0, Rosepine 11

DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity fell behind early and couldn’t come back in an 11-0 loss to Rosepine on Thursday.

The DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Rosepine, giving up 11 runs.
Raeleigh Granger took the loss for the DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity. The righthander went six innings, allowing 11 runs on 13 hits and striking out two.

DeQuincy 16, East Beau 18

DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity fought back after falling down by seven runs in the sixth inning. The comeback fell just short though, in an 18-16 defeat to East Beauregard on Monday. DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity scored seven runs in the failed comeback on a error in the sixth, a homerun by Hannah Jefferson in the sixth, a double by Ashlyn Bullitt in the sixth, a single by Katie Willis in the seventh, a double by Raeleigh Granger in the seventh, and a single by Laurel Patin in the seventh.

Patin collected four hits in defeat – homered in the first, singled in the third, doubled in the sixth, and singled in the seventh.

DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity fired up the offense in the first inning. Willis drove in two runs on a single.

Granger was on the rubber for the Lady Tigers. The righthander went four and a third innings, allowing 16 runs on 11 hits and striking out one. Miley Moore threw two and two-thirds innings in relief.

The Lady Tigers socked two home runs on the day. Jefferson had a long ball in the sixth inning. Patin went for the long ball in the first inning.

DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity collected 20 hits. Patin, Granger, Baileigh Kellogg, Willis, Jefferson, Bullitt, and Adah Doucet all had multiple hits for the Lady Tigers Varsity. Granger and Patin each collected four hits to lead.
