Rosalis gets 4 RBIs in win over Oakdale

Rayden Rosalis came to the ballpark and meant business, driving in four on two hits to lead the DeQuincy Tigers past Oakdale 12-1 on Tuesday. Rosalis drove in runs on a double in the first and a single in the first.

An early lead helped propel the Tigers to victory. The Tigers scored on a double by Rosalis, a double by Reese Ashworth, a single by Gunner Gearen, a walk by Gavin Gary, a single by Rosalis, and a single by Hadley Cooley in the first inning.

Gearen pitched the Tigers to victory. The righty allowed three hits and one run over four and a third innings, striking out two and walking one. Traive Goutreaux threw two-thirds of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Rosalis went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the Tigers in hits. The Tigers tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Cooley led the way with three.

DeQuincy 10, East Beau 0

The Tigers defeated East Beauregard 10-0 on Monday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Jake Pharris struck out Jaydin McCormick to finish off the game.

The Tigers got on the board in the first inning when Hadley Cooley singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run.

Cooley led the Tigers to victory on the mound. The righty lasted three innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out seven and walking one. Pharris threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen.

The Tigers tallied 12 hits on the day. Pharris, Cooley, Sammy Maddox, Gavin Gary, and Gunner Gearen all managed multiple hits for Tigers. Gearen, Gary, Maddox, Cooley, and Pharris all had two hits to lead Tigers. Maddox led Tigers with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with eight stolen bases.

DeQuincy 13, Rosepine 6

The Tigers defeated Rosepine 13-6 on Thursday thanks in part to Hadley Cooley who drove in five runners. Cooley drove in runs on a homerun in the second and a single in the sixth.

The Tigers got things moving in the first inning, when Reese Ashworth singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.

The Tigers tallied five runs in the third inning. Gavin Gary, Rayden Rosalis, Sammy Maddox, and Traive Goutreaux all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.

Gunner Gearen earned the win for the Tigers. Gearen allowed eight hits and four runs over five and two-thirds innings, striking out seven. Jake Pharris threw one and one-third innings in relief out of the bullpen.

The Tigers tallied one homerun on the day. Cooley went deep in the second inning.

The Tigers collected 21 hits. Maddox, Rosalis, Goutreaux, Ashworth, Cooley, and Gary each had multiple hits. Maddox went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead the Tigers in hits.
