Amanda Leigh Royer Wheeler, a resident of DeQuincy was born June 13, 1980 and passed away Sunday, Apr. 11, 2021 at the age of 40.
She is survived by her children, Kyle and Alissa Wheeler; the father of her children, Mark Wheeler; parents, Keith and Lisa Royer of DeQuincy, sister, Lacey Bertrand and husband Luke of Orangefield, Texas; brother, Dustin Royer and wife, Lauren of Sulphur; maternal grandparents, Carrol and Annette Brown of DeQuincy; along with her aunts, Kathy Marcantel and Kyra Cooley, both of DeQuincy; uncle, Justin Brown of Longville; and her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Howard and Essie B Royer; and her uncle, Brett Brown.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Apr. 15, with a funeral service at 10 a.m. Friday, Apr. 16, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy. Rev. Rex Bryant and Bro. Dustin Royer will officiate. Interment will follow at Alston Cemetery in DeQuincy.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
