Larry E. Granger, Sr., 79 was born in Orange, Texas on Dec. 29, 1941 and passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with his wife and grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Marie J. Granger; children, Mary A. Dean of Bridge City, Carol A. Ghergherehchi and husband, Mike of Lufkin, Ronald D. Granger of Mauriceville, Pamela K. Tubbleville and husband, Rex of Mauriceville, Timothy W. Granger of Mauriceville and daughter-in-law, Jessica Granger of Baytown; 17 grandchildren; and 30 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Wayne Granger and wife, Donna.
He was preceded in death by his son, Larry E. (Butch) Granger, Jr.; grandsons, Douglas Dean, Jr. and David Allen Dean; parents, Joseph Julius Granger and Edith Goodyear Granger; brother, Robert Granger; and sister, Sylvia Johnson.
The family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. and the Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 3. The visitation and Memorial Service will be held at Pinehurst Pentecostal Church, 2111 North 40th Street, Orange, Texas. Rev. M. K. Marcantel will officiate.
