Mable Rigmaiden

Mable Rigmaiden, 89, of Westlake died Monday, May 31, 2021.

She was a lifelong resident of Westlake. She was a Catholic and parishioner of St. John Bosco Catholic Church. She was a CCD Teacher and she was an usher for many years.

Survivors include her sisters, Alma Garrick of Vallejo, Calif., Rita Keith of Los Angeles, Calif., and Sadie Coleman; brothers, Herbert Rigmaiden and Raymond Rigmaiden both of Sulphur; daughters, Betty Lang from Aurora, Colo., Patricia Jones-Bell, Ella Buckley (Melvin), and Beverly Dorris (Jason) all of Westlake; sons, Joseph Jones Jr. of Sulphur, Charles Jones (Christine) of DeQuincy, and Floyd Jones of Westlake; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Turner and Beulah Perkins Rigmaiden; one daughter, Caroline Jones; two brothers; andone sister.

Visitation will be held at St. John Bosco Catholic Church in Westlake on Friday, June 11, beginning at 9 a.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 9:15 a.m. A Mass Of Christian Burial will be held at the Church on Friday at 10 a.m. Burial will be immediately following at Rigmaiden Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles.
