ORDINANCE NUMBER 915-A
The Mayor and Council of the City of DeQuincy, State of Louisiana, met in regular session on the 14th day of June 2021, and adopted the following Ordinance amending Ordinance Number 915-A, being the Budget of Revenue and Expenditures for the General Fund, the Public Safety Fund, and the Sales Tax/Street Fund for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2019 and ending September 30, 2020.
WHEREAS, it appears to the Mayor that due to the Covid-19 Pandemic and 2 hurricanes, the General Fund, Street Fund and Public Safety Fund will receive more revenue and incur more expenses than originally expected.
WHEREAS, the Mayor has submitted a revision to the City Council in order to stay within the 5% budgeted projections;
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL of the City of DeQuincy that the Budget of Revenues and Expenditures for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2020 is hereby amended as follows:

BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED by the City Council that should any court of competent jurisdiction declare any section, clause or provision of this Ordinance invalid, the same shall not affect the validity of the Ordinance as a whole, or any part thereof, other than the part or parts declared to be invalid. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with any of the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
