Kelly Holmes Irwin, 57, of DeQuincy was born Sept. 14, 1963 in Orange, Texas and passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021 in Lake Charles. Kelly was raised in Old Salem, Texas where she went to school at Bleakwood Elementary and graduated from Newton High School in 1982. She loved her sons and the joy of her life was her grandchildren where she was known as KeKe. Her hobbies were sewing and cross stitching.
She is survived by her sons, Anthony Irwin and wife, Chelsea and John Irwin and wife, Amanda; grandchildren, Kason, Cohen, Allison, Raelin, Addlyn; and sisters, Stacy Ashworth and Melissa Farris.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, parents and brothers.
The family received friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 19, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 20, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eddie Ray Hoosier officiating. Interment followed at Masonic Cemetery in DeQuincy.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
