Lawrence Clark, Jr.

Lawrence “Bo” Edward Clark Jr, 55, of Sulphur, passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at his residence. Bo was born in Sulphur, Louisiana on November 19, 1965. He graduated from Sulphur High School in 1985. He worked as a pipeline inspector for Applied Consultants for the last 15 plus years. Bo loved the outdoors, whether it was fishing, hunting, riding his motorcycle, watching sports, or just hanging out with family and friends. At any given time if you stopped by his house, you would find him out in his shop, working or tinkering on something. He was always reminiscing about his younger days when he made the Little League Baseball World Series and in later years playing with the Adult Men’s Tournament Softball Team. Bo was one of a kind; he was generous and loving, and very strong willed, always making jokes, and was the life of the party. He never met a stranger. All of his children and friends will tell you that Bo’s favorite saying was “It will feel better when it quits hurting”…..Well Bo feels better now because he is no longer hurting.

Bo is survived by his love, Paige Mays; one son, Dakota Smith (Johnna); daughters, Kallie Smith and Audrey Clark of Sulphur and Courtney Lilley (Wade) of Warren, Texas; grandchildren, Makaela Hilton and Lucas Smith of Sulphur, and Sawyer Lilley of Warren, Texas; parents, Lawrence “Peanut” Clark (Dolores) of Sulphur; siblings, Sandra Alexander, Mark Clark (Gwen), Jason Peck (Tabetha), all of Sulphur, Andre’ Doucet (Keith) of Covington; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bo is preceded in death by his mother, Brenda James; and his daughter, Lauren LeBlanc.
