Lou Ellen Braneff, a resident of DeQuincy was born Oct. 26, 1939 and passed away Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2021 at the age of 81.
She is survived by her son, Rev. Charles Braneff, Jr. and wife, Tanya; grandchildren, Shana Marie Braneff, Wesley Shane Braneff and wife, Leicee and Shari Lou Dean and husband, Ryan; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Charles Braneff, Sr.; son, Daryl Wayne Braneff; her parents, Altie Russell and Lillie Mae Young Russell; two brothers; and one sister.
A private graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 17, 2021 at Riley Smith Memorial Park in DeQuincy.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
