Joyce Marie Franklin, 64, a resident of DeQuincy passed away Friday, Sept. 17, 2021.
She is survived by her children, Steven Speights, Michael Speights and wife, Stephanie, Kristina Rainwater and husband, Jeffrey and Natasha Speights and boyfriend, Kenny Reed; eight grandchildren, Jaiden, Lea, Paige, Mya, Cain, Kaylee, Hunter and Christian. She is also survived by her siblings, Darryl Franklin, Clara Selph, Barbara Abshire, Therisa Hoopingarner, Lillie Tillman, Toby Eugene and John Wesley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie Franklin and Lillie Belle Smith Franklin; granddaughter, Lexie; and brother, Sherman Franklin.
The family received friends from 5-8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 20, at Oretta Pentecostal Church, 185 Missouri St., Singer and the funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21, at Oretta Pentecostal Church. Pastor Dustyn Rose officiated. Interment followed at Oretta Cemetery.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
