Delores LeBlue, a resident of Moss Bluff passed away Friday, Sept. 24, 2021 at the age of 77.
She is survived by her daughter, Katina Cooper and husband, Shane of Moss Bluff; three grandchildren, Emily Cooper and fiance’ Dylan Whotte, Brandon Cooper and wife, Riley and Madison Logan and husband, Ethan; one great-grandson, Grayson Logan; brothers, Robert LeJeune and wife, Mona, Russell LeJeune and wife, Paula and sister, Peggy Bourne and husband, C. E.; along with many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Oze J. LeBlue, parents, Edward LeJeune and Sybil Higginbotham LeJeune; sisters, Barbara Myers, Patricia Pharris and Lois Istre.
The family received friends from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, with a Rosary being held at 6:30 p.m. at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy. Visitation continued from 12-1:45 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 26, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home. A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 26, at Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church, 203 South Grand Avenue, DeQuincy with Pastor Luis Tigga HGN officiating. Interment followed at Perkins Cemetery in DeQuincy.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
