Milton Trahan

Milton “Piglet” Gregory Trahan, 55, of Vinton died on Sunday, Oct. 3, 2021.

He was born in Lake Charles. He joined the United States Army after graduating high school in 1984. He was stationed in Baltimore, Maryland where he became experienced in telecommunications & fiber optics. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Vinton.

He is survived by his son, Brett Trahan (Katie) of Starks; mother, Alma Levada Trahan of Vinton; partner and caretaker, Tina Glisson of Vinton; siblings, Mitzi Bond of Singer, Jeffery Todd Trahan of Sulphur, Cathy Hoffpauir of Vinton, Wendy Trahan of Mont Belvieu, Texas, Sunny Miller of DeQuincy, and Jade English of Lake Charles.

He is preceded in death by his father, Milton Joseph Trahan.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 7, in St. Joseph Catholic Church. His nephew, Rev. Samuel Bond will officiate along with Rev. Carlos Garcia. Interment will follow at Mimosa Pines South Cemetery in Carlyss under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 8:30-10 a.m. with a Cursillo Rosary beginning at 10 a.m. in Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton.

In lieu of flowers the family requests mass donations in his memory to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1502 Industrial St., Vinton LA 70668.
