Mary Louise Blankenship White O’Rear was born May 1, 1930 in Macon County, Tenn. to Jesse Earl Blankenship and Naomi Driver Blankenship. She was a lifelong resident of Starks and a member of the First Baptist Church of Starks. She passed away Sunday, Nov. 21, 2021 at the age of 91.
She is survived by her children, Donnavon Eugene White and wife, Janice of Kentucky, Michael Lee White and Tina Earlene White Stanley of Starks; four grandchildren, Kristy, Karen, Alexa and Gunner; and one great grandchild, Tyson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. O’Rear; and the father of her three children, Alton E. White; and her parents, Jesse Earl Blankenship and Naomi Driver Blankenship.
The family will receive friends 9-10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 26, with the funeral service to begin at 10 a.m. The visitation and funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church, Starks. Pastor Ron Butler will officiate. Pallbearers will be Gunner Stanley, Jeremy Ashworth, Willard Ray White, J J Ortolon, Brayden Sims and Colton Stains. Interment will follow at Smith Cemetery in Starks.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
