Abigail Wood scored a career high 31 as the Singer Lady Hornets down the DeQuincy Lady Tigers, 63-32, in the Pine Country Shootout Tournament held in Singer last week.
The Lady Hornets lead 29-12 going into the locker room and didn’t let up in the second half as they took down DeQuincy with a big third quarter 63-32.
Along with Wood, Allie Doyle scored 10 points. DeQuincy got 10 points from both Alyson Braxton and Anesha Carrier.
Oberlin 56, Singer 33 – Oberlin held a slim 13-9 lead at the end of the first period but pulled away late scoring the Pine Country Tournament victory, 56-33
Singer was led by Abigail Wood who scored nine points.
