Wayne Phelan Adams, 69, of Ragley, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, Dec. 19, 2021 in Ragley.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved cooking, making sausage, hunting and collecting guns. He was a master carpenter who could build anything. He had an extraordinary bond with his special grandson, Andrew. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Henry Adams and Shirley Mims; stepfather, Howard Mims; and one brother, KeKe Adams.
Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include his loving wife of 30 years, Hanna Norton Adams, Barnes Creek; three sons, John Henry Adams, and his wife, Ashley, of Reeves, Teddy Norton, and his wife, Candi, of Ragley, and Jim Bob Norton, and his wife, Ciara, of Topsy; two daughters, Monica Granger, and her husband, Shane, of Lake Charles, and Amanda Whatley, and her husband, Billy, of Reeves; one brother, Wyley Adams, and his wife, Janet, of Arkansas; one sister, Jessica Estillette, and her husband, Chad, of Lake Charles; 15 grandchildren, Kobe, Kendall, Kohlston, Kullen, Andrew, Jace, Dwight, Bam Bam, Kelsey, Dylan, Caleb, Trulen, Shalyn, Shane and Joshua; and three great-grandchildren, Waylan, Freya and Sawyer.
