Elaine V. Hickson was born Oct. 22, 1961 and passed away Saturday, Dec. 25, 2021 at the age of 60.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Lee Hickson, Sr.; children, Michelle Ritchie and husband Andy; Lora Hickson, Jamie Hickson, Gary Hickson, II and wife, Emily, Dana Padgett and husband, Shane and Alise Oliver; grandchildren, Stephen Ritchie, II, Jeremy Hickson, Alexis Hickson, Landon Hickson, Emery Hickson, Gary James Hickson, Aidan Hickson, Brantley Hickson and Cooper Stennett.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ramus Vincent, Sr, and Helen Duhon Vincent; one sister, Lenora Cain and brothers, Ramus Vincent, Jr. and Damon Vincent.
Family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, at Calvary Baptist Church, 800 Lewis Street, Sulphur. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, at Calvary Baptist Church with interment to follow at Big Woods Cemetery. Pastor Steve Avera will be officiating.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
