Two vehicle crash claims life of DeQuincy man

The crash ultimately claimed the life of 73-year-old Ronald F. Dupuis of DeQuincy.

At the same time, a 2001 Honda motorcycle, being operated by Dupuis, was traveling north on LA 27 and approaching the intersection of High Hope Rd. Dupuis was wearing a DOT approved helmet and sustained serious injuries. He was transported to a Sulphur area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Wright was properly restrained and not injured. Impairment is not suspected but toxicology samples were obtained and submitted for analysis. This crash remains under investigation.
