In Celebration of Older Americans Month, The Rotary Club of DeQuincy is inviting all local Senior Citizens to come to Lunch with the Rotary Club on Wednesday, May 11, at 12 noon at the DeQuincy United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.
The luncheon is sponsored by The Rotary Club of DeQuincy and DeQuincy Community ACTS Foundation.
Local Historian, Writer, and DeQuincy Railroad Museum Board President Vance Perkins will be the featured speaker introducing the new release of the book, “The Pictorial History of DeQuincy, Louisiana.” Proceeds from the book will benefit DeQuincy Railroad Museum; cost of the book is $30. Books will be on hand for sale. One lucky attendee will win a free copy of the book in a door prize drawing.
