An informational meeting will be held on Monday, June 20, at 7 p.m. at the Oak St. Recreaction Center, located at 509 Oak St., to update the public on the progress of DeQuincy School’s repairs and track.
DeQuincy News staff has reached out to School Board Member Alvin Dale Smith who assured the News that he will be in attendance with the possibility of other school officials attending also.
As the two year mark approaches from hurricane damage citizens can ask questions and discuss the process of rebuilding and repairing the schools in our community.
Also a discussion will be held on the time frames and the lack of financing for these projects. All concerned citizens are urged to attend.
