Ward 6 Fire Dept. has installed more than 350 FREE alarms since January 1, 2022 and still have plenty available. We currently have 2 different types, one being smoke and fire and the other being 3-in-1 smoke, fire and carbon monoxide. The 3-in-1 alarms are for homes with gas service or generators. Batteries in both types last for 10 years and never have to be changed.

It is very important that you use one of the 3 methods listed above in order to contact them for alarms. They don’t want to miss any requests.
