Johnny “Mac” McGill was born Nov. 1, 1967 and passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at the age of 56.
He proudly served in the United States Navy. Mac enjoyed singing, fishing, and drinking. Most of all, he loved his family and dogs.
He is survived by his mother, Sandra Havens; stepfather, Lynn Havens; children, Jeremy Simpson, Jamie Simpson, Tina Sanchez, Shania Sanchez, and Manny Sanchez; siblings, Paul W. McGill, Cassie Welton and husband Gary, Percy Roy III and wife Tanya; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his second wife, Brenda McGill; and third wife, Miranda McGill; and father, Wendal McGill.
The family received friends from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m., Saturday, May 25, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
