Lawrence Elroy Manuel, 88, of Lake Charles died Saturday, May 18, 2024. He was born in DeQuincy.
He was a longtime resident of Lake Charles and a resident of Moss Bluff for the last 18 years.
Survivors are his wife, Adele J. Manuel; children, Randy Manuel, Eddie Manuel and wife Kathy, Ray Manuel and wife Tammy, Tina Schiele, Charles Manuel and wife Amy, Becky Manuel, Ronnie Manuel and wife Rachel, Missy LaBauve and husband Kevin, Denise Byler; 30 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and numerous brothers and sisters.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Judy Ann Manuel; parents, Lawrence Manuel and Ethel Sara; sons, Ben Manuel, Kevin Manuel, John D. Johnson; and numerous brothers and sisters.
A funeral service was held Wednesday, May 22, followed by burial at Hayes Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home in Moss Bluff.
