A handful of players and coaches from our small area made All-SWLA honors.
First with the small schools: DeQuincy’s Carson Rainwater and Turner Rodriguez; Singer’s Kolton Royer, and Merryville’s Blaze Brister all made the list.
Carson Rainwater was named MVP. DeQuincy Head Coach Brady Carlson was named All-SWLA Small school baseball coach of the year!

Softball
DeQuincy’s Emily Cooley; Starks’ Madelyn Nolen and Hazel Heffron; and Merryville’s Hannah Herrington, and Leighlah Pruitt all made the All-SWLA Small schools softball team.
These five young ladies have worked extremely hard all season and to see them accomplish this goal is a testament to the work they’ve put in to be the among the best in Southwest Louisiana!
